Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has given the strongest indication that the North London club will
pursue another attacker over the upcoming January winter transfer
window—telling reporters that he thinks the club need another attacker.Speaking out after the Gunners booked their place in the final 16 of the
UEFA
Champions League, the veteran manager stated that a mix of injuries and
players unavailable for selection will most likely force the club into
buying another striker this winter.
ARSENE SAID :
I just spoke about [a move for Thierry Henry because people asked me.
I
said I don't rule it out because he's in good shape, but I haven't made
up my mind yet [about whether to try and sign him or not.
We are looking maybe at a striker, because Gervinho goes to the African Nations Cup.
